Dragonfly Habitat

Feb 19, 2026 | Land, News

Thanks to all those who came along and helped improve the dragonfly habitat, in the peat bog/wetland area we have below Cnoc Leis. It was fun and we made a good dent into the planned improvements! I am planning 3 more work parties:
  • Monday 23rd February, 1pm
  • Wednesday 25th February, 10 am
  • Wednesday 4th of March, 10am
  • … please do put them in your diary if you fancy coming along to give me a hand! Wellies, a spade and a snack would be recommended. The improvement plan has been written with the expert advice received last autumn by Pat Batty, and TI is keeping her updated with our progress. See you there 🙂 Sal (Tayvallich Community Ranger work is all possible thanks to the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation)
