Wet n Windy Autumn Walk (& Choc!) on Cnoc Leis

Sep 17, 2026 | Land

A wet n windy community walk up Cnoc Leis today, with a reward for our efforts of hot chocolate at the top. Heavy showers along with a few dry spells … quite dramatic watching horizontal rain passing over the Sound of Jura. A real sense of the move into autumn: leaves starting to change colour; mushrooms underfoot; fungi on the trees. A good year for hazelnuts; less so for sloes. The dogs had fun too!

Join us on 24 Sept and/or 14 Oct for more autumn activities!
